Kaitee Tredway

Boston Based Puppeteer

Puppet and Circumstance is a puppeteer-army-of-one.

I graduated from Bennington College in 2011 with a degree in Theatre and Literature, and moved to Boston shortly thereafter with the intention of pursuing acting as a career.  However, in the Spring of 2012, I rediscovered a love of puppetry through Puppet Wrangling on The Lyric Stage Company's production of Avenue Q.  My puppetry journey began in high school when I was cast as Audrey II (puppeteer) in our production of Little Shop of Horrors, and since Avenue Q, I have been an active puppeteer.

I believe that puppetry is a magical form of story-telling, both on its own and as a part of theatrical productions.  I love performing as a puppeteer for adult audiences, and am striving to create full length puppet pieces for all ages.
